Lab 4 - Physics 101

Sep 10, 2014· Conclusion: In this lab we measured the acceleration of a rolling ball down a ramp at a specific height. Our variables in which we used to determine speed was a little metal ball, and a metal black ramp we placed the ball on to measure its speed. We marked this ramp at each distance in which we were starting the ball from.

Ball Clasp, C Clasp, Dental Appliance Lab | SML

Ball clasps are typically used as auxiliary retention in conjunction with other clasps. They are usually placed tightly into the interproximal embrasure between two posterior teeth. This is usually sufficient to create the retention needed, however it can also be adjusted mesially or distally to engage the undercut of either tooth. This is particularly useful during the exfoliation stage of ...

periment you would state that you used a stopwatch to measure the drop time of a ball, a meter stick to measure the distance of the ball's fall and a mass scale to measure the mass of the ball. Several lab experiments have multiple components. The separate components of a lab allow you to make broad conclusions about a theory.

Floating Ping Pong Ball | Science Experiment

The Floating Ping Pong Ball is a wonderful example of Bernoulli's Principle, the same principle that allows heavier-than-air objects, like airplanes, to fly. Bernoulli, an 18th century Swiss mathematician, discovered something quite unusual about moving air. He found that the faster air flows over the surface of something, the less the air ...

Accuracy and Precision - NCSU

Accuracy and Precision: Accuracy refers to the closeness of a measured value to a standard or known value. For example, if in lab you obtain a weight measurement of 3.2 kg for a given substance, but the actual or known weight is 10 kg, then your measurement is not accurate. In this case, your measurement is not close to the known value.
